It was Benjamin Franklin who had the idea to create groups and clubs that would work together to prevent fires. At first there were only 25 members, but it kept growing until a commitee formed - the firefighters. He created this group because of all the fires in his hometown Philidelphia.

Ben Franklin suggested that Philadelphia should have fire-fighting clubs after the ones that were made and sucessful in Boston. After writing about it in the newspaper and talking about it with pre-members, he organized the Union Fire Company, which started around 1736

Benjamin Franklin was a man who suggested that Philadelphia should have groups/clubs that fought fires, identical to the ones in Boston. After writing about the idea in the Gazette he organized the Union Fire Company which began around 1736. Eventually fire groups/clubs/companies began all over Philadelphia and most of the city fell under the protection of other companies. This is all thanks to Benjamin.

Benjamin Franklin made a big difference in the fire department industry .It all started when he admired Boston’s fire department for helping others so much, so he brought that idea home by starting that in Philadelphia. First he confronted the Junto, the benevolent dedicated to helping the society. He started a group of people that wanted their houses to be protected and only those in the club were protected to be in the gathering they had to have two buckets of water and sacks for belongings.

Benjamin Franklin was definitely different by realizing that lives have value. Unlike Montag's society that thinks you are very suspicious for reading books if you are different or stand out. No one ever stops and reflects or thinks everything just moves so fast. In Guys society no one cares for his or her own life as Mildred drives erratically and recklessly.

Benjamin Franklin was a founding father of the U.S.A. He had a marvelous idea to create groups of people that would work together to fight fires in his town of Philidelphea, the firefighters. He got the idea from Boston. They had organized groups and it was very successful. In the begining, there were only about 25 members but, it kept growing and growing until they had enough to form a commitee.

Benjamin Franklin was not the first fireman, like the manual in Fahrenheit 451 says. He was, however, the person who helped get firefighting started. He formed a group with 25 members. Each member vowed to help the other members protect their homes and businesses. Soon the group grew into many committees. Now firefighters are everywhere, all thanks to Benjamin Franklin.

I just learned that Benjamin Franklin was one of the founding fathers of america and that he opened the first firehall in pennsylvania. He also formed the first public lending library in the U.S. He was also a very famous scientist and philosopher across the States. Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Towards the end of his life he was one of the most famous abolitionists in the United States of America.

Ben Franklin Comment
Benjamin Franklin organized the Union Fire Company in 1736. This organization was meant to help to prevent fires and to help others to protect themselves. There weren't very many peple in the club and they met once a month to figure out new ways to fight fires and save belongings and put out fires. It was a very important event in history. This reflencts the laws that Montag quotes in a negative way. In the book it said that Ben was the first person to start fires but he was actually the person prevented fires.

Benjamin Franklins impact on the firefighting Industry was that he helped try to protect people from fires and prevent them form occurring. He organized the Union Fire company in 1736. Benjamin Franklin helped to prevent fires not start up fires. This is significant to our novel Fahrenheit 450 because it shows that even the history has been changed to help brainwash all the people to believe that the government is always doing the right thing and they should never question the laws.
